Open Mike Eagle has teamed up with UK producer Paul White for March 25's release Hella Personal Film Festival on the Mello Music Group label. Today they've released their second single, "Admitting the Endorphin Addiction" as a free download.
"It's a song about addictions of all sorts," says Open Mike Eagle. "All addictions are ultimately about chemicals in the brain associated with pleasure release. This is a story about a guy realizing where he stands in terms of his own brain chemistry and the world around him."
For the instrumental, Paul White provides a warm concoction of looped up soul funk and heavy drums. This is a great free song. Make sure you cop it.
