Many of you told me you were into New Yorker Doug G's new EP. Well, you're in for a treat - fellow Long Islander & one half of The Brotherhood duo with Doug G is the rapper & producer, Bearded Legend. He releases his new EP called Hear Me Out. It's a brief clinic on New York hip-hop: more well-produced, forward-thinking & conscious lyrics from a talented NY artist. "Renaissance Man" & "Give My All" are more synth-y, ominous tracks. "Hear Me Out" reminds me of some of the old gritty '90s hardcore artists. Bearded Legend shows off the flexibility of his flow in this song.

Doug G & Bearded Legend share a similar style in both production & especially in flow delivery. It's really cool! Their music together as The Brotherhood is equally dope & I recommend listening to their last EP, Trust in Us. Overall, both artists are refreshing NY rappers/producers & have released great, short EPs within the last month.
