Short mini-doc from local Austin blog Ovrld detailing hip-hop band Magna Carda's 2015 SXSW journey - 7 shows in 7 days. They were denied official sets for SXSW in 2015 & 2016 despite playing regular shows around town, having press, releasing great records, and being largely considered a dope Austin act. Lead rapper Megz Kelli had criticism for SXSW's selection team: "You don't know what's going on in your own city?" Local hip-hop favs RAS and Protextor are also interviewed in this mini-doc along with regular Austin Chronicle music writer Kevin Curtin.Â
