Eternia has been breaking barriers for women & non-Americans in hip-hop for over 10 years. Her 2005 record, It's Called Life, was nominated for the 2006 Rap Recording of the Year at the Juno Awards - as was At Last in 2011 (The latter competed against Drake's Thank You. They both lost to Shad's TSOL.)
Since 2011, Eternia has been featured on singles such as Shad's "Love Means" in 2013. Among other features & songs, she released the free single "Scraps" in 2014 (see below & cop it).
Her live show is recognized as an incredible rap performance. I had the honor to witness it myself in 2011 - her lyricism, energy, intensity, stage presence and talented band (including a saxophone player & beatboxer - they killed it) impressed me enough to buy a copy of At Last & get it signed.
Here she is as the featured rapper on her new music video with MoSS on the track "Day & Night" from his latest album, Marching to the Sound of My Own Drum.
